Maca’s Camping Ground   Well behaved dogs are allowed at this campsite situated 12 kms from Mullumbimby, and 30 kms from Byron Bay, offering powered and unpowered sites for travellers of all types and ages. Facilities include: quality showers, toilets, kitchen and laundry available to campers. 1156 Main Arm Road, Upper Main Arm 2482 T 02 6684 5211 www.macascampingground.com Blackbird Reserve Camping A car-based camping reserve which allows dogs and has toilets facilities, access to drinking water. No bookings required. Not suitable for caravans, towing or large vehicles due to road conditions and restrictions. Armidale Road, Comara 2440 T 02 6563 151 Racecourse Headland Campground A dog-friendly primitive campground which has an amenities block with cold showers, disabled toilet access, BBQ, 4WD access. Goolawah Reserve, Crescent Head 2440 T 02 6563 1983   Delicate Campground There are 2 dog-friendly campgrounds in the Goolawah Reserve. Both are suitable for tents, vans and campers, situated next to the beach with outside cold showers. Located south of Crescent Head and approximately 450 kilometers north of Sydney. Goolawah Reserve, Crescent Head 2440 T 02 6563 1983 Coopernook Forest Camping A peaceful dog-friendly camping area that is located 28 kilometres north of Taree. The camping area can be reached from the Pacific Highway and Moorland turn-off. Facilities include: bins, BBQ facilities, flush toilets, and note there is no power. Forest Road, Coopernook State Forest 2430 T 1300 655 687 or 02 9871 3377  Stockton Beach Bush Camping Free beach and bush camping with your pet. Bring drinking water and firewood, and note there are no toilets. A beach vehicle permit is required, and can be purchased at Birubi Beach Service Station, Gan Gan Road. Stockton Beach, Anna Bay 2316 T 02 4984 8200 Cessnock Showground Dogs are permitted at this popular campsite with large grassy sites that is located near to vineyards and shops. Facilities include: toilets, showers, disabled access, water, BBQ’s and toilet dump. $15 per night for 1 person or $20 for 2 people. Dogs to be be kept on leash. 111 Mount View Road, Cessnock 2325  T 02 4990 1181 Lostock Dam Caravan Park This privately-owned park welcomes pets and is just over a two and a half hour drive from Sydney. 

Guests can enjoy a campfire, birdwatching, bushwalking, fishing, boating, windsurfing, canoeing and swimming in the dam. There are BBQs, a kiosk and hot showers available. All dogs are to be kept on a leash and under control at all times.
