The Stirling Ranges is a must do & see it is the highest peak of the mighty Stirling Range in the Great Southern region of Western Australia (Commonly called WA). Bluff Knoll is measured to be 1,099 metres (3,606 ft) above sea level and even though Bluff Knol is sometimes claimed to be the highest point in Western Australia, the actual highest peak is located at Mount Meharry in Karijini National Park, which stands at 1,249 metres (4,098 ft) above sea level.

  • Fees provide entry to one or more parks on the same day. (There is one exception. If you enter both Yanchep and Nambung national parks on the same day in a private vehicle with more than 12 occupants, another entry fee is payable and should be paid on entry to the second of these parks.)
  • Fees should be paid when entering a park
  • No entry fee applies if you walk or cycle into a park.
  • All prices include GST.
  • You can upgrade to any one of the annual park passes or holiday passes by taking a Day Entry Pass or park entry fee receipt to a Parks and Wildlife Service office within seven days. The value of the entry fee will be deducted from the cost of the pass.

Where park entry fees apply they are paid in addition to camping fees, but only for the first day. Campers may leave and re-enter a park during their stay without paying further entry fees.

Park Stay WA campsite bookings. Pay entry when making your online booking, on arrival at the park by any of the methods below that are available at that park, or purchase a park pass. For consecutive bookings in the same park, park entry is payable for the first booking only.

Other payment facilities vary by location

Entry station. Pay an attendant at the entry station by cash or card.  Some locations do not have an electronic payment facility and payment will be by cash only. If there is no-one present to collect your fees please follow the alternative payment instructions at the entry station.

Automated pay station. Payment can be made by card at automated stations.

Self-registration. Fees are placed in an envelope and deposited in a receptacle for collection by a park ranger.
