Fingal Heads Holiday Park, NSW Review

I want to start out straight away by saying Fingal Heads Holiday Park is just magic.

I took the kids for a quick weekender, it had to be close to Brisbane as we were only going away for the weekend. I have heard so many families say how Fingal was always great, so I decided to give it a try and see what the hype was about.

Traffic out of Brisbane on a Friday afternoon is not the nicest way to spend your afternoon, but the drive is nice none the less and knowing that Fingal is your destination makes even stop start traffic seem not that big of a deal,

We got down to Fingal Heads late afternoon, finding the place no worries and enjoyed the scenery on the way to the caravan park.

Once there we were greeted by the staff and they made us feel extremely welcome.  We opted for a beach front camp site to make the most of our stay, and my goodness I am thankful we did.

The sites are of normal size with no particular issue, even if they were a 60 foot hole, the view would make them seem like you’re living it up in a penthouse!  Now did I say view!  So far I would have any to say that it has one of the best views of any beach front caravan parks that we have stayed in and is well worth the few extra dollars.

The park is council owned and is very well maintained.  There is something for every age, not too fancy but this is what makes it special.

The ocean is no doubt the draw card and it does a magical job of living up to the hype.  There is easy access to the beach and we all had a great time building castles and going for walks.

Overall the park is impressive, it is the friendliest park i have been to and one that I will always have a soft spot for. Do I recommend it, my oath I do, just don’t let the secret out!
