Springbrook National Park
The Settlement camping area is the only camping area in Springbrook National Park. The camping area is linked by a short walking track to the top of Purling Brook Falls. This walking track links up to the Gold Coast Hinterland Great Walk.

Mount Warning base camp
The park is at the entrance to the world heritage-listed Mt Warning National Park. Visitors can hike Mt Warning or The Lyrebird Track, both located close to the camp grounds.

Lake Moogerah Caravan Park, Boonah
Situated in the heart of the Scenic Rim, Lake Moogerah Caravan Park is only a short drive from the Gold Coast. The park offers camping, sailing, fishing and waterskiing.

James Sharp Memorial Park, Canungra, Gold Coast Hinterland:
On the upper reaches of the Coomera River about 35km west of the Gold Coast near the town of Canungra, James Sharp Memorial Park, is a great spot for a family weekend away.
The park has large open grassed area with a few shaded spots near the creek. Plenty of places to swim, fish and canoe. Basic facilities are available, domestic pets are allowed and open fires are permitted.

Bigriggen Park, Scenic Rim
Situated between Boonah and Rathdowney in the foothills of the Scenic Rim’s Mount Maroon, with Mount Barney and Mount Lindesay and only 90 minutes from the Gold Coast.
Bigriggen Park is set on 40 hectares of high hilltops and gentle river flats, close to National Parks and bordered by the Logan River and Burnett Creek.

Lake Maroon Holiday Park
About an hour’s drive from the Gold Coast, the Lake Maroon Holiday Park is 20km south of Boonah, in the heart of the Great South East Scenic Rim. Lake Maroon is Brisbane’s best-kept secret location for water skiing. It boasts deep, clean water and a lot less traffic than other dams.

Yarramalong Camping and Outdoor Recreation Centre
Yarramalong is a 65-hectare property nestled in a scenic rim valley. The spot comprises of two remarkable camping grounds: The Main, and The Island. Each campground consists of exclusive campsites, private fireplaces and shady trees
With Reynolds Creek running all year round it provides the perfect spot for water fun- swimming, fishing and paddling can be done in the creek. There are a number of bush walking tracks close by also.

Flanangan Reserve Bush Camping
12 Hectares of camping on a no through road in one of the most peaceful areas of the Scenic Rim and on the banks of the beautiful Logan River. The grounds are nestled among a natural bush setting at the foothills of Mt Maroon and the World Heritage listed Mt Barney National Park.
Cost: Adults: $8, Children: $4 per night.
The park is in the world-heritage listed Scenic Rim National Park, about 28km from Beaudesert on the Kerry Rd.
Cost: $20 per family per night.
