With the increase of caravanning popularity it can be hard to get your mind around all the options we are lucky to have in Australia to make camp for the night.
Free camping has always been extremely popular with the traveller and is becoming more popular every day.
We are starting a journey of listing some great Free camp spots around Australia and have hand picked some great ones to start our journey and how better to start Alphabetically.
We are opening a new forum section on free camping so you can share and get advice from fellow campers and soon we will make finding free camps even easier, so keep returning as big things are happening here at camp spots!
Bemboka Rest Area. 

Address:
Bendeela Reserve Camping Area.
Handy Information :Turn left just before the power station. Nice spot on banks of the Kangaroo River. Note: The dump point is located at the first toilet block.

Bendemeer Park Rest Area. 
Handy Information :Located next to the Watson Creek quite a nice place to pull over and relax a bit.

Bendethera Valley Camping Area. 
Handy Information :Test out your 4×4 on some of the tracks or simply enjoy the river and the activities available on it. Bring your own firewood, and check the water levels before crossing the creeks.

Bombay Reserve Camping Area. 
Handy Information :Small caravans are best suited for this spot. Its about 100 metres or so to the Shoalhaven river for those fishing enthusiasts out there.
A bit too far and difficult to carry the kayak. Its easy to miss the turn so I recommend you use your GPS.

Bonshaw Weir Camping Area. 
Handy Information :Fishing and swimming within 200m of weir is prohibited, but is OK once you pass the 200 metre mark in either direction .

It states on line on the NSW Nat Parks that dog are NOT allowed in Bournda National Park Camping Area. Where did you get your info from? Interested in this spot but we were told not allowed.

are you referring to Bendethera, this days national park & ok to have dogs, which I wish was true
True. Dogs are not permitted in National Parks campgrounds across Australia, apart from one I stayed at in SA which was donated to NPWS on the condition that dogs would be allowed in certain sections.
Thanks for this, especially the dog friendly info. Any chance of plotting them on a map? I’m a full time traveller but most of these places are totally unknown to me.
