Camp a few nights at one of these pretty spots and we predict you won’t want to leave.
Most campers return to their favourite camping ground around this part of Yuraygir National Park time and time again.
Others come back to the area to try one of the other camp sites or caravan parks for a different experience.
What’s always the same is the feeling you’re getting away from it all and you’re completely immersed in natural surroundings and close to river or ocean and wildlife.
Basic beachfront campground managed by National Parks with 60 spacious camp sites for tents, caravans and campers, just north of Minnie Water.

No facilities. Campers will have to walk about 200 metres from the car park at Illaroo Campground to get here.
IMPORTANT: Camping is permitted at Diggers Headland Reserve ONLY from 1 December to 31 January and on those days allocated as a NSW or QLD public school vacation.

Large riverside park with 117 spacious powered caravan and tent sites, plus a variety of cabins sleeping 2-9 people, some with private spas.
